Green and Pleasant Land?

God saw that creation was ‘very good’; Francis rejoiced in his brothers and sisters in the created world.  Our response today may be more complex. This issue of franciscan invites us to reflect on Francis’ Canticle of the Creatures as a model for our relationship with creation; on creation and sustainability in both theology and practice; on ecology and liberation; and on the crisis in the countryside and the Church’s response.
